kolargarh Tirth

Kolargarh Tirth The white idol of Shree Aadinath Dada is in the sitting Lotus posture. It is 75 cms high. It is very difficult to identify how old is this temple, but the make and design of this idol ensures that it is very ancient. It is estimated that this beautiful and magical idol was carved out during the times of King Samprati. There is a stone inscription in the temple dating back to Vikram Samvat 1721, however it can be about the renovation work done on that date. In Vikram Samvat 1858, Sheth Shree Javanmalji did the renovation work in this temple. Every year, a new flag is hoisted on the temple top on Ashadh Vad 13th day. Every year, there is a fair like environment on Kartak Purnima, Chaitra Purnima and Chaitra Vad 8th day. People come from far off villages and towns to worship in this temple.
